Shipping Question ?

Hi

A question for the seasoned ebay seller.
I sold a card and went to ship to the US. I asked for tracking on a bubble mailer. I was told that I couldn’t get tracking to the US on a oversized letter. The weight was under a 100 grams. Was told I had to send as a package . Ended up costing me over 14 for tracking. Can anyone tell me if they have had the same experience.

i usually take my items to the drug store, (IDA) it has a postal outlet in it. the lady there gives me tracking with no extra charge for anything over a regular envelope. they dont seem to have all the information as the post office but they also are very easy to get along with. i ALWAYS ask her to DATE STAMP my envelope, have never had a problem.

I went the local drugstore Shoppers Drugmart. The guy told me that the system doesn’t give him the option to add tracking regular envelope or bubble mailer. Seems strange to me. If I want to spend the money that service I think it should be available on mail. Would like to hear the rational on that .

That all sounds correct.

To be honest, I would have expected it to cost more. Tracking of a bubble mailer within Canada is nearly that high.
