former Bruins goalie Tim Thomas details brain damage from hockey
WASHINGTON — Doctors told Tim Thomas that two-thirds of his brain received less than 5 percent blood flow and the other third was averaging about 50 percent.
His wife, Melissa, and oldest daughter, Kiley, started crying. Thomas didn’t react – because he couldn’t process what he was hearing.

Listening to him answer questions with the media, knowing some of the issues he had back in the day with talking and doing interviews, it was great to hear him open up. I feel for the guy.
