I'm just wondering, why is it that someone asks for an Auto and then they turn it down because it's PP, Sage, Aspire .... I mean no offense to you goboyz, but I've noticed it a lot and can't figure it out.

If the player is valuable to you then why not take ANY card you can get?

Can someone explain this to me. I'm pretty new to collecting and can't figure this out.

    Thanks!

I don't want to let go of him just yet. he's looking like a contender for ROY.

A lot of people (and I'm not meaning the OP here) are ... overly picky, in my mind. Feels like they're more into this for the investment rather than for the collecting. Same goes for those who consider AU/GU to be the be all and end all of a collection.

Of course, that could also just be their collecting style.

Personally, I want -every- card of who I collect, whether it's base or not.
