Your 2020 Collecting or Hobby Goals (Thread revamped for 2021!)

1.Continue the hunt for Odjick, Habs and Nordiques
2.Continue moving lower-end Oilers cards from PC to tradelist
3.Start moving stars inserts I don't care that much about from PC to tradelist
4.Having fun opening older discounted boxes
5.Maybe sell some stuff when I have opportunities, I would like to downsize the lower-end part of my collection.

Biggest goal for me, continue to chip away at my all-time Oilers autograph collection:

From 79-80 through the end of the 14-15 season, I'm missing two emergency backups. (509/511)
From 15-16 and onward, I'm still missing quite a few - but that's more about opportunity (or lack there of) and waiting to get the cards I want (currently have 55/65 from those years)

I've been working getting signatures from coaches & management type people too. Have a decent sized list there I'm still working on.

Also been chipping away at WHA era players. Only started doing that in 2017.... of WHA era Oilers, who never played in the NHL for the Oilers, I have 68/125 right now.

Next up? Ranford stuff. Would like to add to the collection, where I can. I think every year I say "I want to add at least one OLDER issue". For me, that means 2015 or older.

From 2015 or older, my want list is currently sitting at 12 (that's the non- 1/1s), and it's been stuck there for a couple of years. I just won an eBay auction for one of them.... so yeah, I'd love to pick up one of the 11 cards I'm missing from those years.

Your all-time Oilers autograph collection is beyond superb, best of luck with it in 2020! It'll be nice seeing what you're able to acquire.

Not sure how many Upper Deck S1 or S2 sets Gorges was included in over the years, but he should get at least a couple of those UD 30th Anniversary BuyBack 1/1 cards once 2019-20 Upper Deck Series 2 releases.
