Its just kinda funny to me, and im sure many people here, how someone can think they are better at something that someone is employed and paid to do.
The fact that you think dumping the puck in is a turnover says enough about your "turnover" knowledge

If it was a good ol' Canadian boy dumping the pucks into the corner, they'd be calling it a heads up play

I think there are valid pros and cons to the Leafs and Nylander’s play. Sure, if a team is out of a playoff spot, the statistics of many players can be seen as letting the team down. Not just one specific players. And in sports and hockey especially there are so many intangibles that are not really seen in the statistics. Winning teams need to follow an effective system and all players need to buy in otherwise it screws it all up.
I for one think the amount of talent the Leafs have they should somehow sneak into the playoffs, it will be interesting to watch!

Watch a Leafs game, for real, & watch Nylanders play. Watch the things he does, especially when an opponent is coming at him. Its called the Nylander Curl & Run for a reason!! I dont know where they come up with these stats or who is counting but you dont notice Marner's mistakes as much & his 94 points last year made it even harder to notice. You rarely see Nylander in the Danger Areas, he might get hurt.
Marner is a team player where as Nylander is not!! You seen that last year when he held out on his team, then, when he came back after gettin Paid he played poorly & was almost invisible in the playoffs,(1 goal in 7 games). Defensively its like he doesnt even try & if he has to compete to get the puck forget about it!! At 6.9 million per year you should be good at both ends of the ice.Last edited by jameslacarte; 02-25-2020 at 04:19 PM.
