2010-11 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey Hobby Box Break | DYNASTY

In recent months I've been dusting off old Artifacts hobby boxes. Even though Artifacts remains the butt of everyone's jokes, these old hobby boxes have always represented decent value. Just avoid the blasters is the common rule of thumb.

Thanks. Definitely solid. It's a shame my one expired redemption was better than my base rookies. It's really tough to hit great rookies in products that only guarantee two or three RCs, yet have massive checklists. I'm no fan of Synergy, but at least that product is loaded with rookies.

What I like about 13/14 SPx and, Fleer Showcase, Allure, or OPCP is we get a really nice balance of RCs. Of course, the more RCs they include, the more generic they are. But, I don't mind that because I'm not looking to flip cards. I'm looking to enjoy what I get.

I built the base set of OPCP in 14-15 with the rookies. It's fun to get all the rookies without breaking the bank :)

Exactly my thinking. Especially for kids. It's great that even a kid from a poor neighborhood could have a McD, Pettersson or Hughes true RC.
