Hitting several Greg Maddux milestones

I would like to share a couple of milestones i recently hit with my Greg Maddux collection. Before i get into that there's two purchases worth mentioning that played a major role in hitting these milestones. Making trades has slowed down from past years for me anyway for one reason or another. The majority of my new additions are coming in mainly from ebay or comc. I'm sure everyone would agree finding good deals on both of those sites are getting harder and harder to find with all the over priced stuff out there. 2018 I was sitting on about 4000 different cards (20 auto's, 400 game-used, 25+ patches and about 15 1/1's) but was impossible to determine total cards with an out dated web page want list made 10 years ago that didn't track any type of numbers.

December of 2018 i took a road trip to purchase 1000+ cards from fellow collector slavlite who wasn't actively collecting any longer. Nick had pieced together an impressive 3500+ maddux collection. I bought just about everything i could use except for his mini 2005 prime patches collection which i wasn't able to pry from his hands. The lot included 200+ game-used, 20+ patch cards, handful of auto's, stack of 50+ oddball items along with a bunch of other cards. Thanks Nick for some great deals. I'm sure he still has a box of maddux cards available if anyone is interested.

Spent most of 2019 reorganizing my master want list year by year when time permitted.

Late december of 2019 i started chatting with Patrick another fellow maddux collector who started selling his massive 5000+ collection. Over the next couple of months we made deal after deal filling up priority boxes of goods. This guy went above and beyond giving better then fair prices on every kind of card imaginable. I'm guessing i missed out on 300+ cards to other buyers as i started late and choose the beginning to end approach. I can't express how much i appreciate him helping me out and like he mentioned "I would rather put these cards in hands of a collector rather then a flipper". There was only 9 total damaged cards in the whole lot which i thought was very impressive. On top of all the spectacular deals and replacement cards he filled the last box full of misc bonus goodies including a cubs mini helmet auto and 1989 starting lineup. Thank You Patrick !

1200+ serial numbered (566 serial numbered to 31 or less)
500+ game-used (125-150 patch cards)
46 auto's
122 printing plates and 1/1's (1 superfractor)

Only 161 cards were out of 2007-2008 topps milestones (81 black /25 /29), (80 blue /10)(46 red /1).

I'm thinking the 8000 mark is just around the corner considering there's still a lot of easy pre 2009 hits, i don't have many 2011-2018 issues and i have very few 2019-2020 cards.
