Rakuten (eBates) done with eBay?
Anyone know anything firm about this? Is it temporary, or permanent? I know Amazon dropped this deal recently too - I sort of suspected that the situation with COVID19 has meant they're crazy busy, and don't need to hand out these bonuses to attract traffic.
Too bad, as I've done well with Rakuten (formally eBates) over the years. I hope this is just a temporary thing....

I seen it but never used it. As you say with COvid my post office has been so backlogged. Had a package that been in the city for like 3 days and it still not here. Went to ask and they said they had 5 million packages in the system. Hopefully, it arrives today. So as you said doubt any retailer online needs help with business now as everyone is shopping from home.

Yeah, sometime since this all started, they stopped giving cashback for Amazon.... and now eBay. I suspect those retailers are just pulling the bonus offers, because they don't need them.
It's too bad. I've made nearly a couple hundred bucks over the years using that site. I don't always remember to use it - but when all I have to do is be logged into that site, then launch eBay, and I get 2.5% cash back on my purchase..... why not?
Aeroplan is another one (it's an Air Canada based reward point program in Canada). Used to be that you could log into their site, then port over to eBay, and earn points. That was dropped several years ago though.
