Update on old member

Hello,

Haven't been here for years. Not sure how many people remember Chris Jones Chajones. He was the Bill Dudley Supercollector. He passed away in 2015.
Well back in 2012 I found a Topps Supreme Dudley Cut Auto at a show and mailed it to him. He was so happy because he had the previous year Dudley 1/1 Cut. He had a long battle with cancer and we became pretty good friends after that. Never met him. Just talking on the phone, text and here. He had so many friends on here. We were mailing Gibter Minis to his kids. Well last week I got an email from eBay for a Dudley 1/1. Yes after all these years I still have a search saved for him. Well the card I gave to Chris popped up. I watched it just to verify and the seller sent me an offer I accepted very quickly. And today I got the card. Anyone one remember him?

I just got back on after a long time away. I can't say I remember him, but very cool story and pretty awesome how the card made it back to you after all these years.

Yeah he was. I do wonder how his Wife and kids are doing. I still can't believe I got the card again. It will definitely be in my PC forever. It's nice seeing other members who remember him. I made a post about it in the 1of1 group and 3 people theire remembered him. Which was amazing to me.

That is a cool story and amazing that you got it back, thanks for sharing the story. I don't remember him but sounds like he was a very good guy!
