What do you mean "should have"? Ive never understood that. There is no such thing as "should have", thats a losers excuse to why he lost. Alot of people dont understand you cant win half the game and expect to win, you have to win the WHOLE game. And Nebraska couldn't do that, Texas could. You never "should" win a game, you either "do" or "don't".

not true at all!! michigan SHOULD HAVE won an NCAA championship if chris webber had a brain.....there are instances where actual game play has nothing to do with the outcome!!

Your joking right? You're throwing around the "IF" word. I love that. What if Michigan didnt have Webber on their team? I doubt they would have even been in the championship. I could always say "if Vince Young came back for his senior year then we would repeat". BUT HE DIDNT!!!! We move on. We dont dwell on all the "If's", because there are alot of them.

And if Nebraska "should" have won that game, why didnt they? Let me guess, you're going to say the refs right??

the michigan analogy is not a good one.. it is the Big Ten - anything could happen on any given day... Noerthwestern would be a decent team in any conference except the SEC but thats where they are.... Who would have thought Indiana would dominate MSU today... its why i love watching the Big Ten.... best conference in the nation

i said michigan was good, but if they lose to OSU, i dont see how you can let them play OSU again for the championship....that was my point....hell, im stuck here in the middle of big 10 country (people here still think penn st has a shot at the national championship!!).

and dont go telling me northwestern is good this year, or would be good in any other conference!! they are 0-5 in conference, 2-7 overall including a loss to 1AA NEW HAMPSHIRE (by 17 points)!!!!!! there only 2 wins were against a 1-7 eastern michigan team, and a 1-8 miami OH team....put them in any conference and they are a bad team this year man!!

they would be bad but they would be at least .500 in a lot of conferences... Michigan does deserve to be in the championship because they are a damn good team.. if OSU and Michigan play each other and are both undefeated that day even though it wont happen i would love to see them play each other for the national championship... Like i said... not going to happen but i truly think a 1 loss team from a national powerhouse conference has a possibility of being better than a 1 loss team... someone has to lose that game and being forced to play against each other shouldnt hurt their chances of playing for the NC... If Michigan wins do you think WVU should play ahead of OSU in the NC game? Most people think OSU is the best team in the nation but again... they are forced to play michigan and like i said... someone has to lose it

im a WV grad, but most definately i think they should play for the championship IF they are one of two undefeated teams (will say the same for louisville if they go undefeated)....the big east has 3 teams in the top 15....is it as good as the sec, big 10, etc....no....is it the mountain west, not at all....louisville has a very good program, and rutgers is turning into a great running team!! WV leads the nation in rushing, and would give OSU or michingan a run for their money....I GUARANTEE THAT!! would be a very exciting game!!

as for northwestern, how can you say they would be .500 in any other conference (outside the big 10 and sec) when they lost by 17 to a 1AA team?? its not like they beat up on their non conference opponents!! their win against 1-7 eastern michigan was 14-6...their only wins were against the worst of the worst in mid major conferences!! come on man....a 17 point loss to a 1AA team!!! that is bad.

it is bad but that was very early in the season with a very young team... i dont remember how many players returned but i think pretty much the entire line on both sides of the ball were new faces and they are just having growing pains... I just really think if you put them in a mid-major conference they would be at least .500

im really not saying WVU is a bad team as i havent seen them play a single game this year... they may be as good as any other team in the nation but a matchup of Michigan/OSU or OSU/Texas etc would just be more entertaining i think than OSU/WVU

you are probably right about them being 500 in a mid major...thats not saying a whole lot though, lol.....as far as WV, they have as good of an offense as anyone out there....the dont have much of a D, but can score on anyone out there!! i haven't missed a game yet, and have been nothing but impressed (reguardless of who they have played)....texas almost lost to an unranked texas tech team today, almost lost to nebraska last week....i just think the average fan would love what a WVU/OSU or WVU/UM game would bring if they actually got to see it.....i really dont think the OSU/Michigan game will be super entertaining....will be a GREAT game, but not very entertaining.....let me pose this question.....if either of those two teams wins by 14+ points, would you still want to see it again (speaking of the buckeye/wolverines game)??

when it comes to the bowl games, i look foward to seeing the out of conference matchups, teams that dont ever get to play each other....thats what makes the bowls interesting!! to see what a 10-2 texas team can do with a 10-2 florida game (just throwing numbers/teams out there).....give my mountaineers a chance, you wont be disappointed!! watch the louisville game thursday night and see what kind of dominant running team we are talking about here!!

take care tutall....thanks for the chat!!
