Past to Present! Football Designs! Ideas Welcomed!

    Hey all!

    Bored & up early!
I've been collecting off & on for 20 plus years and I don't think I'm alone when I say, "I miss the older styles". I was also curious to know what designs people liked or wished that would be brought back to today's sports cards. Choosing any design from any year & from any sport. And if there are anything close or exact to what I've posted, please let me know. I'm honestly just shooting from the hip here and posting what roughly came to mind.
(None of these pictures/cards are mine, they are for posting purposes only.)

Here are my choices, in no particular order.

    1) The cartoon look!! Either in action or a seemingly staged pose!

    (1992)

So in the middle of making this thread while looking for pictures, I noticed they did remake these this past year in 2019 for baseball and some years back in 2010 for football.
So I figured I'd post them.

I wish they did these again but doing the Rookie Premiere Class.

    2) Realistic drawn cards. Now I'm not really sure If they've done these lately so please let me know. As far as looking back at this set (Upper Deck),
I didn't even notice some had names, nicknames and or no names at all!
Now I did notice that those Kaboom & Downtown cards are sort of a little bit of an older style and much appreciated

    1991 Fleer Pro-Vision

Some have the action effect & some don't, again something I just noticed.

And an extra pic for you OCD folks.

    1992 Fleer

    1992 Fleer PV

    3) Hologram Cards Again, let me know when the last time these were used. I personally have always loved them from any year.

    1996 SPx

    1998 SPx

    1996-97 SPx

Considering the latest Last Dance Series I went with some of the pictures of the G.O.A.T. (No convo starters please, just so you know where I stand.

Off topic of the thread yet I would like to know where you stand though on the GOAT conversation. (Basketball only)
Just annotate on who you ride with using their last name at the end of your post please. All options and ideas welcomed. Thanks for stopping by!
