Another tidbit of information today...
The play-in round will be the only best-of-five series for the playoffs format this year. All other rounds will be best-of-seven.
There is a new wrinkle: teams will be re-seeded after each round and there is not a set bracket. The highest-ranked team will play the lowest-ranked team in each round.
It's going to be an amazing run for the Montreal Canadiens.

Since they're not doing divisional brackets anyway, I guess this makes sense.
While I have a feeling that this is only the beginning of play-in games: I hope we go back to divisional brackets quickly.
