Darn the repeat luck. 3 Different Dupes 1 Pack
I am opening more of the 1985 Topps wax packS and I just opened this pack that had three sets of duplicates. Why can’t this happen with the cards I am looking for???
Now before you say these packs where searched and replaced with these cards..... you could be right.... but I have already pulled another Warren Moon and a few Montana’s, Marino’s, Elway’s etc and other of the rookies from this set.

It NEVER happens with the good cards yet they are all suppose to have the same print run

It gets worse!!! Soon as I opened the pack and saw a Freddy Solomon on top and bottom (meaning wax and gum stain on each) I was already disappointed
FIVE!!!!!! Five duplicates in one pack!!!! At least there was a Payton Record Breaker in this one. Over half way through this second box and only one Singletary today. It’s a beautiful card but very OC.

Officially the worst box ever. Three packs in a row... another four sets of duplicates. But one Montana. (Not a dupe arghh)
seriously this is out of control. I swear I have had packs repeat where I got almost exactly the same cards in different packs and even in the same order. I think that has to do with the fact the sheets when cut cause a pattern and it just ends up that way. When that happens I don’t seem to mind as much as getting the same junk cards in the same pack.

Did you forget about Richard Dent? Or as a Cowboys fan, Bill Bates? There are several HOF rookies in this set and possibly others who some day they will get the call to the HOF. The Moon is the most popular and valuable rookie in this set but I wouldn’t say the “only good one”

The duplicates card gods are trying to make up for it. How to make a Bears fan smile? Give him two Payton’s in one pack. Plus a Speedy Willie Gault. Only thing I can gripe about is one has a gum stain and scratch and the second also has a scratch.
