Trade complete sets. I have very nice 1985 Topps FB
I just opened five wax pack boxes of 1985 Topps this past week and three rack packs. Been posting about it all week so I’m sure some of y’all might be sick of hearing about it. Every single card was handled with extreme care due to the sensitive black boarder and instantly placed in a penny sleeve. Yes, every single card is penny sleeved! I even separated the top and bottom card from each pack and they went in a separate box just to make sure the gum residue didn’t scratch the other cards. These cards are pack fresh and most look awesome. But that said, this is a sensitive set and won’t all be PSA 10’s. BUT I will pick out the nicest of each card I have to fill the set.
Needless to say I will be able to put together at least a couple sets. I will need a little time to put completed sets together but when I do...
I am interested in trading for other complete sets from the ‘80’s and even the ‘70’s, ‘60’s and ‘50’s. Basically any set older than 1987. I don’t mind working all kinds of deals and working things out so it’s a fair trade. Such as trading you my set and adding
1. PayPal if your set is higher value
2. removing some key cards from your set to even it out and I can acquire those cards my self later
3. any other ideas you might have to make a fair trade
My preferred years I would like, in order of preference, but am willing to talk about any years
1984 You can keep the Marino and Elway
1986 You keep the Rice
1976 You keep the Payton
1978
1981. You keep Montana
1982
1980
1984 USFL. I want all the cards but I will add PayPal.
I can be talked into letting you keep other key cards that I didn’t mention. I was shooting from the hip with an old memory. Besides this list I am up for any other years you might have EXCEPT 1983 and 1987 or newer.
Thanks and let’s talk a trade,
Robert

Rob.... I opened some 1978 Rack Packs and some 1985 Topps myself. I have some of the other years as well. Let's work out a trade. It may take a while but I'm in. I will never complete these sets and would prefer at this point to focus on Cowboys, Brees and a few others. I'll trade you my Bears for your extra Cowboys at any point.

Krunchtyme sounds good.
I am in no rush at all. In fact I also need some time. I haven’t even started pulling cards to box up a set yet. Been focused on finding one Bears card worthy of sending in for grading. I might have anywhere from two to eight copies of a card. One might be perfectly centered with perfect edges and corners but the darn thing will have a wax stain on back or it’s a dinged corner or edge. Another card looks great except for centering. I just can’t win.
Any chance you got a Payton and/or Gary Fencik in that 1978?

Sorry I missed this question.
Nope. Football is really about it. Especially when it comes to sets. Maybe but very rarely I might grab up a Blackhawks, Bulls or Cubs card depending on who and what it is.

If someone wanted to, say, trade you no sets and offset that with only Paypal, what kind of price are you looking for this :)?

humm hadn’t thought about that. How cheap do you want? I did separate every card that was on top and bottom of each pack due to gum and wax stains and could add what’s missing to finish out a set and will sell that one really cheap. If interested you can make an offer. Most of the wax stained cards look amazing on the front but have the typical wax on the back and a few on the front. The gum stains will mostly scratch off. Again most of them will look great as far as centering, corners and edges will go with consideration what a delicate card these are and I’ll fill in the blanks with cards with no stains or residue.
If you are interested in this, let me know. I’m guessing I can do $40 total shipped for the stained set. eBay comps are $50 final sale plus shipping on the low end up to as high as a couple hundred. On “vacation” with the family right now so I’ll work on it at home if you give the green light.

Any interest in trading? I need the Richard Dent 1985 Topps #24
Please don't send PWE. I trade BY BV.
I am looking for any #'d, inserts, game used, or autographs of Ken Griffey Jr, and 1997 Upper Deck Legends football autographs or really anything that catches my eye. Just sent a tradelist or link to look through.

Sure, what you got? I tried to look at your trade cards in your profile but it wouldn’t load. Fair warning, I’ll admit I’m a difficult one to trade with due to the limited things I collect.
For the Dent I’d consider other Bears RC’s from early 80’s and before. Examples:
’78 Fencik
Also more recent cards I want.
2013 Topps Chrome Kyle Long #62. (Base card only)
2002 Upper Deck XL Olin Kreutz #96.Last edited by FireRob; 06-03-2020 at 01:57 AM.
