question about show cards
i was wondering if collectors value show stamped cards the same as regular cards.
is a auston matthews 18/19 upper deck base chicago show card stamped 1/10 considered a legit card?
i realize its not the same as a high gloss card.
what kinda collector would want one? a serious Matthews collector? or a Leafs collector? or anybody?
and what kinda percentage bv/tv would they garner.
is the market small for these types of cards

Show-stamped cards are the bane of a completist's existence. LOL
Part of the problem with show cards is that often a collector won't even know it exists; checklists are rarely released for these types of cards. Upper Deck is pretty good at releasing the Parkhurst Priority Signings and other autograph checklists for Expo and other big events. But for a stamped base card? It's often a big surprise.
There's a market for them, but consider them more along the lines of a "bonus" card rather than a real chase card.
A Matthews would probably garner a few looks and a few bucks - maybe in that $20-$25 range?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Show Cards are nice extra pieces for a collection, but I think the majority collectors would still prioritize the Pack Pulled cards other the Show Stamped variations.

Pack pulled parallels are always going to command a much bigger premium than show stamped ones.... but they certainly do have value.
Like @RGM81 pointed out: The problem with a lot of them, is that there is no checklist - so people don't know to look for them.
Show exclusive cards (i.e. the Priority Signings) usually do really well though.
At last year's fall Expo, UD had "Midnight" parallels of the Team Canada set. Cards were serial #ed to 50. I've seen the Ranford pop up on eBay twice... both times I forgot to go back and bid on it... and both times they sold for less than $3 (plus ship). I'd pay $10 CND (delivered) for one right now, lol.
