    It depends.

For my main PC: Give me a dual card with Bill Ranford & someone... great. I want their to be some kind of connection, and I want it to be unique.

I'm tiered of Fuhr & Ranford duals. The connection is obvious, and should be used.... but there's so much of it. They did a dual SOTT this year with Messier & Ranford. First time those two have been paired together on a card. It was LONG overdue, and a great pickup for me.

I'd like to see Ranford & Andy Moog sign the same card. Traded for each other, faced off in the 1990 Stanley Cup finals.

There's some multi-player stuff he's been on from Leaf, that I don't have much interest in. 6 players from the same draft class? It's not all that exciting for me.

Ranford has very few of those "ultra-high end" 1/1 type cards. His only Upper Deck Shield card is from 2011-12 The Cup. It's a dual card with Ray Bouque. The connection (both on the Bruins at the same time, when the jersey were worn) is obvious enough... though not particularly meaningful (IMO). That card made me sad, since the inclusion of Bourque means it's out of my price range. I don't understand why those sorts of cards are even made.... you can make two massive hits, instead of one.

One kind of multi-player card I do HATE is the rookies from Fleer Showcase. (don't think UD is doing anything like these anymore). I will collect a rookie card of every Oiler. Dillon Simpson (from a few years ago) is one that comes to mind. His only card is from Showcase, and he shares it with three other players. I get that he's a noname, but I'd still rather they make a solo RC of each of these guys, rather than those weird quad-RC cards.

Not a fan of multi-player cards for selfish reasons. If one of my PC players is on a multi-player card it just increased the competition to obtain that card. If it is a low numbered card it is even worse. If your PC winds up on a card with Gretzky, Lemieux, Crosby, or McDavid get ready to shell out more $$$.
