Any idea who this player is? Several have guessed Fran Tarkenton but he wore number 10 at University of Georgia plus this player looks much bigger than Scramblen Fran !!!

Agreed! I checked https://www.pro-football-reference.c...ia/drafted.htm and sorted by QB, then looked at years where black and white photography makes sense and the guys who came up definitely didn't wear that uniform.

Are we 100% sure it’s even a QB? Back then they took photos of everyone throwing a ball. I have seen lineman drop back with the ball in their hands for a photo op.
