Target & Walmart National Baseball Card Day boxes
Has anyone been able to find the special boxes at Walmart or Target with either Gallery or Fire cards included in conjunction with the National Baseball Card promotion this past weekend? One of my local Target stores has a limit of 2 boxes of trading cards per customer but I have not seen any stock in at least a few weeks. I don't know if someone is purchasing them with "inside" info when deliveries are made but have seen Facebook Marketplace ads for Topps Chrome with the seller located in a city near the Target.

It may not be so much "inside information", Don, but it's been going on all across the country. Walmarts & Targets in my area have also dried up because of flippers and box breakers buying up everything they can find. I would like to know why they're doing it, and why the lack of courtesy and common sense."You can't have an oversight committee on stupidity!"--Woody Paige, "Around the Horn", 2/11/08

Are you talking about the Topps Gallery preview packs with Topps Chrome? If so I just opened one up today. I don't have any Targets real close so I have to try my luck at Walmart. There is one Walmart about 50 miles away that has quite a few cards. I guess no one cares about them up there.

The same reason anyone does anything it all about the DOLLARS.
When it comes to dollars common courtesy as you call it goes out the window.

I cant find anything at any of the local Targets or Walmarts. Everything Topps and Donruss is gone. One shop I went to on Baseball Card Day was out of everything. The owner told me all he had left was 1 box of Chrome. He wasnt selling individual cases. Come on people, if this keeps happening, we'll see another crash. No one wants to pay over market prices for the cards you've got.
Collecting Topps Brewers. I PC Jonathan Lucroy, Paul Molitor, Christian Yelich, Robin Yount, and Ken Griffey Jr.

The people doing this don't care. All they want is to profit off the pandemic any way they can and soak anyone desperate enough to spend more than needed.
Is anyone here on SCF familiar with a YouTube punk named Gary Vee? I'm hearing on another board that he's the influencer responsible for this.
Part of the problem where I am has to do with Atlanta rookie Ian Anderson, because he's a kid from the area (Shenendehowa HS, Class of '16). We care about kids from the 518 making it big.

No cards here in Oregon either. I even looked when I was on vacation in Idaho and Montana and nothing! There is not available at any of the stores around me!
BakeFootball: Emmitt Smith and CeeDee Lamb!
Baseball: Aaron Judge/Adley Rutschman/Derek Jeter/Anthony Volpe!
Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

Why do you think he is a punk? I think he has a lot of money and he sees $'s in cards. It not like he is alone as in his thoughts as only one has to look at the sales of cards lately all over the spectrum ranging form vintage, modern rookies, new releases, etc. It is just insane.
