    Lafreniere Lottery Today @ 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT

Who gets #1 overall and the right to draft Lafreniere?

    Edmonton
    Toronto
    Winnipeg
    Florida
    NY Rangers
    Minnesota
    Pittsburgh
    Nashville

    My thoughts...

If Pittsburgh wins, it's the most rigged lottery since the 2005 Draft; if Edmonton wins, it's the most rigged lottery since the 2015 Draft; if Toronto wins, it's the most rigged lottery ever. LOL

Winnipeg would be a good spot, and good for the hobby too. Worst case scenario is Florida.

If he goes to Toronto, $50,000,000 in toronto jerseys will be sold overnight.

To make the NHL money, here are the teams in order of $$$ to $

    1) Toronto
    2) Edmonton
    3) Pittsburgh
    4) NYR

I agree that Florida would be a nightmare, but it could revitalize the franchise.

Obviously I hope Edmonton wins. I like it when they get good players.

Edmonton winning, will bring out the best in internet comments too, which is a plus. If they can't win: I hope PIT or TOR pulls it out. Not because I hope either of those teams do well in the future, but I can't wait for all the "rigged" or "this is the worst thing to ever happen in the history of humanity" type comments.

well for the hobby and what the NHL would like we all know who needs to get the pick but for what team deserves it the most of the 8,

    1.Minnesota
    2.Florida
    3. New York
    4. Winnipeg
    5.Nashville
    6.Edmonton
    7.Toronto
    8.Pittsburgh

Reason for the order is no one would be shocked if Pitt, Toronto, Nashville, Winnipeg won the Stanley Cup this year. Edmonton would be a little bit of a shock but they have had so many number ones or high picks and only have McDavid and Draisaitl to show for it. and FL and NY could flop places as Fl has a great team with stars but just suck year after year.

If Minnesota wins there is should be a few comments on its rigged compared to say every other team listed.

Wow, the Rangers has some really good young pieces already ... adding Lafreniere will certainly put them at another level.
