what would fair trade values be for ...

    hi

i have a couple printing plates

    Pat Kane
    Jon Toews

and i was wondering what a fair trade value would be for them.

does it depend on what year? or what brand? or what colour?

    thank you

I own almost a combined 80 Habs and Mike Liut printing plates so I'll give you my opinion based on what I have seen.

A lot depends on the brand. Obvious printing plates from higher end products such as The Cup or from a RC (i.e. a young gun printing plate) carry more weight with most collectors.

The quality of the plate is also important. The plates that have a clear picture on them and a strong color tend to be more desirable than those plates that are very faintly coloured or blurry.

I'd check out COMC and see what comparable are listed for, lots of plates on there.
