i wanted to get topps chrome but they didnt have any. i got a retail gridiron gear. i got a lot of base, two inserts, and a herschel walker preformers 2 color jersey /75 so i was pretty happy.

I have bought two of the $10 score boxes and got Bush, Leinart, and Young out of both boxes. I also got Bush and Young as well as Emmitt, Montana, and Bradshaw cards that all booked over $5 out of a $10 topps box. I know these are low end cards but not bad for what I paid. The thing I don't get is why they charge $10 when it's printed right on the packs that they only cost $.99 each and you only get 8 of them?

Donruss Threads, buy two of them and you're almost guaranteed a GU.

I would say UD right now...I have bought 2 Threads and just tried a Gridiron Gear the other day and got absolutely NADA in them...bought one UD and got a Bush, Maroney and a Mario Williams jersey card.

Could just be my bad luck on Threads and Gear though. I also have bought a couple of Chrome and did so-so, best I did was a Vince Young refractor, no autos or anything special otherwise though...

I think the Rookie Debut are hot right now, I've bought 4 boxes ... pulled 4 GU's (Tavaris Jackson, Hagan, Mercedes Lewis, Whitehurst) and one Auto Gradkowski. and ALMOST completed the base players and Rookie set.

Pretty good IMO.
