I too think the most interesting aspect of the Habs' draft weekend will be the trades, if any. They've got 3 2nd round picks, and I'd be surprised if they end up making all three of those choices.
Current roster players--I agree that I think Mete could be moved, but I'm not sure on Domi. I think they really did him dirty in the playoffs. A guy like him can't be out there with Dale Weise and Jordan Weal, and expected to deliver results of a top-six forward. Yes, KK and Suzuki stepped up huge, but you can't expect a guy saddled with that calibre to elevate his game to that extent. As such, value could be lower than what Bergevin may want to accept in return for a trade.
Fun times!
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

They are going to lose one of those young D-men in the Seattle draft, most likely Mete, so why not use him in a trade to land the sniper they are missing.

The ideal ones are the win-win scenarios. Mete--I like the kid but he's got no offensive upside at all, and with the arrival of Romanov and Edmundson he is surely the odd man out on the depth chart. Domi I love...great heart, but there was something that (I think) Eric Engels or one of the other Montreal media guys said about him, to the effect of: he's got to stop sulking about losing his spot to guys who are hungrier. Again, I think Julien did him dirty in the playoffs putting him as a 4th line C with Weise and Weal, and then wondering why he's not producing. But you can't deny that Suzuki & KK earned those top-six centre roles.
Plus, if 2018-19 Max re-emerges in Winnipeg, holy cow they'd love him as much as they did his dad.
