    Ebay. Most people think that just because something sells for a certain amount on ebay that they can sell the same item on here for the same price,and that's just not the case. The reason is that there are only a few hundred people on here and millions of prospective buyers with diverse interests on ebay.

    An example would be Chien-Ming Wang. He had a great year pitching for the Yankees,but the only reason his cards book so high is the Japanese market who seem to have unlimited funds are willing to pay up the wazoo for his cards,and the book value reflects that. I highly doubt anyone on this board is willing to pay the same prices for his cards compared to buyers on ebay.

    heh... most people on this site don't even like to pay over $2 for a game used card. Even if it is of a player that they collect.
