    1986 Donruss

Why are they going for so much on ebay $100 or more for a box?

Lots of old boxes sell well now. But 1986 Donruss probably does for the people who want to grade the rookies from that set like Jose Canseco, McGriff, etc. A PSA 10 Jose Canseco Donruss rookie has to go for a pretty penny.

That Canseco train was derailed many years now. Thanks

Looks like a 10 Canseco goes for $300-$400

Yeah after I said that I looked it up on eBay and they have a bunch for sale. Guess they aren't that too hard to grade

Looks like 9's are a big dropoff - mostly sub $50 sales.

I was 15 in 1986 and everybody was chasing the Canseco. I think 80s nostalgia and the thrill of reliving the chase of the "it" card of that time is fueling those prices.
