I legit feel bad for Lundqvist, man. Such a good guy, great ambassador for the game, it really sucks that his career could come to an end after getting bought out by the Rangers and not getting another crack to play for The Cup with the Capitals. You look at his stats and accomplishments. I say he's an easy Hall of Fame laureate, even in the absence of a Stanley Cup on his resume.

Even without a Cup, I think he's a lock for the HHOF. One of the winningest goalies of his time.

I agree, a first ballot HHOFer for sure. Terrible way to potentially end his career. More importantly, I hope he recovers from this condition and he is able to live a quality life.
