Switching between US/Canadian eBay accounts no longer working?
In the last couple weeks I've noticed that I can no longer request eBay invoices to my Canadian address. I've been switching back and forth between accounts for years and while the invoice system could be ridiculously finicky it worked about 95% of the time. The majority of my purchases come from the US and my primary info is all set for those so I'm assuming that now they ONLY use primaries? Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this or more importantly, have a work-around on this. Many thanks,

I have not noticed it but with all the shipping delays I have been mostly shipping to my Canadian address. I used to have a selling and a buying account on eBay. I'm wondering if I could use one for USA purchases and one for Canadian purchases. Might be worth a try.

With the size of eBay (how big of a company it is) I am SHOCKED at how terrible their system works, when it comes to users that have multiple addresses on account. Honestly, if there was legit competition out there for eBay (and there is not) I would leave the site, and never look back.
I'm in Canada..... I also have a USA address added to my account. My default (main) address is Canada.
When I search, listed that only ship to USA are excluded (unless I change things, so my primary address is listed as USA).
If I win an auction, and want a new invoice sent using my secondary address, I can't do that from the mobile app.
If I try to use Chrome from my phone to do the checkout / request invoice: It just throws me into the mobile app anyway
It's difficult to use .com for me. Maybe it's the way my settings are, but it will shove me back to .ca
In the last month alone, there's been a couple of cards that sold for much less than I would have paid - but I didn't know they were listed, because they don't show up in my results.
My options are to do a search, then switch addresses, and do the same search again.....
Or logout, and search from .com & .ca both.
None of that makes any sense to me.
eBay has geotargeted the results. If they don't ship to Canada - then I don't see the listing. What they should be able to do is because of the secondary address (in USA) I get those "no ship to Canada" listings, but they force me to select my other address if I want to bid.
Is your address issue on the mobile app, or using the site ?? I have not been able to request a new invoice (and change the address when I do that) using mobile for years - but using Chrome / Edge / etc on my laptop, that option works fine.
