Dick Allen, seven-time MLB All-Star, dies at 78
Allen's No. 15 was retired by the Phillies in September, an honor that was considered long overdue by many for one of the franchise's greatest players who fought against racism during a tumultuous period with the team in the 1960s.
"The Phillies are heartbroken over the passing today of our dear friend and co-worker, Dick Allen," the team said.

Is this where they are going to vote him into the HOF now and act like it means something after he is dead like they did with Ron Santo?

What I most remember about Dick Allen, was his attitude about artificial turf, He once said he wouldn't play on any surface a cow couldn't eat.

He had it rough because of his race early in his career but he could hit home runs! Sad we have problems still not getting people in the Hall that deserve it like Richie did! He will be missed and prayers to his family!
BakeLooking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!
