Anyone else read this Beckett article?
The article is about Leon Washingtons Bowman Signs of the Future autograph. Gotta say its funny Topps missed what he did. Anyway check it out, should make you laugh but might also offend.

and those cards on Ebay went from Buy Now option around $9.99 to Auction style only with most ending around $40-50. I tried to grab one right as the article hit and I guess I was too late!
Pretty funny, but from what I do know about his Fraternity at FSU that was the hand sign they showed for their pledge???

Good job by Beckett to drive up the price....:icon_roll
Its crazy to think why that card is selling for more than it should.
I wouldn't mind picking one up for $5-$15 though.

I tried buying one for 25 bucks with one hour left, looked back an hour later and it jumped up to $50. I dont see how you can miss that. And I REALLY cant see how you can miss what was on Billy Ripkens bat on his 1989 card.

I read that article, and it failed to spark any interest for the card in my collecting. However, I am now interested in picking up a 72 Topps Billy Martin card.
