I'm looking to sell in a forum like this because I got sick of ebay long ago with the fees and the competition making this entire enterprise futile. I have a REALLY nice collection, and the value of it is MEANINGLESS because it's perpetually being F'd in the A by retail box scalpers and this idea that every single card I sell comes with the caveat that everybody deserves the best deal of all time, every single time, for the rest of time. I don't even know these people, why should I sell them my cards at crack head prices? I feel like the majority of collectors who populate these kinds of forums are more legitimate than most platforms - more legit than FB for sure that place is a ™™™™-show - and more adherent to the basic decency & common sense that allowed for small pieces of cardboard with pictures and statistics on them to be such valuable and collectible items in the first place. I love this hobby. I hate where it's going. So while I may be new to the forum, I'm no stranger to the hobby, buying/selling/trading, and the nuances of shipping these cards safely & securely. I've been collecting since 1990. And I have never once expected to get book value for my cards, but I put in the work building my collection, and I put in the work preparing for, organizing, and displaying my cards for sale...I certainly deserve comp value. For the record, I discount that as well. My prices will usually be just UNDER comp pricing. You'll see that I discounted the total with shipping as well, but I'm open to your offers too - some or all cards.
