A lot more have been popping up lately
I've bought a few of them in the past year. They were ok, but nothing spectacular

This seems like one of the more obvious grifts on ebay. Best case scenario you have someone who is well intentioned who is going to pack the product with 80-90% value leaving some margin for their effort. Most likely though you will encounter a less scrupulous seller who is going to send you junk.

It never hurts to ask questions. But yeah, "mystery packs" of any kind are usually people off-loading their garbage with a tiny shot at getting something worth the while.

The mystery packs I've received are not crap. Maybe they don't have high ebay value (probably because they're not highly traded on ebay lately) but they did have decent book value. The packs I buy are under 15 bucks including shipping so i'm not spending a ton.
Also keep in mind that you're responding to someone who loves buying hockey cards at dollarama.Last edited by cjb; 02-10-2021 at 07:46 PM.

100% agree!! I made the mistake of buying 2 of them. They say 2-3 hits per pack. the first i got a Brendan Ranford YG & the other 3 cards were base & my cards were sent in a PWE with no Top loaders!! I had my money refunded as cards arrived damaged.
I bought both within a day or 2 so i didnt know better yet.
The 2nd i got a Bobby Ryan Jersey & the rest again were base. Again no top loaders to protect the cards & arrived damaged. Save your money, its a total rip off.
If you do decide to buy any check they're feedback, had i checked first i never would have purchased them thats for sure.
Now, maybe the bigger ones for like $10 may be better but again i would check the feedback first, that will tell the story but i say save your money & buy yourself a card instead..

There a lot of people here putting up lots for sale. If you look carefully, you'll find some great deals among them. Are you looking for specific things? I'm looking to downsize my traders at the moment.
