Need Some Opinions on my PC Storage

So basically my "PC" consists of complete sets. I put all the RC's in Sleeves and Toploaders and store them in a 5000 count box by set. The question becomes (for the sake of space, cost and presentation) would you store the base cards in sleeves and then in labeled 500-1000 count boxes (regular set boxes) or would you buy pages and binders and store them like that?

Have you ever considered using large 3-ring binders with 9-pocket Ultra-Pro sleeves to protect your cards?

A dealer would tell you boxes, a collector might tell you pages.

It all depends on what YOU want. If you want to admire your collection and show it off, go with pages. If you plan on accumulating a LOT of them, or simply don't have the storage space, use boxes.

    I do BOTH.

For the sets I like to show off, I use pages.

For the lower end sets I'll put each card in a sleeve then box it, then fill the box with crumpled paper to keep the cards from shifting.

Consider how you want to enjoy them as well as others, and you will find the answer to your question.

peez had a good point, in terms of protection boxing them are def the way to go. If you want to show them off then 9 pocket does look the nicest.

It's only for base cards...so perhaps albums would be cool. I have a nice shelf I could just stack them on like books.
