After a long layoff...
While cleaning up around the house, I dug up my old card collection and started feeling nostalgic about the hobby.
I was a member on SCF up to about 5 years ago and stopped collecting (cold turkey) because of work and life. Now that I'm retired and curious to see the current state of the hobby, I tried logging in but realized that I had forgotten my password. After chatting with RGM81, he pointed me in the right direction to get reactivated. So here I am...
I will probably be watching the activity here more than buying/trading as my retirement means I have zero income and from what I have read here so far, most stuff has risen out of my league!
My prized almost-complete set is the 2006 Parkhurst base autographs. I have all but 3 (Bourque, Beliveau and Lemieux) of the autographs in the set. I started fidgeting around with the other base cards in the set that were never autographed and made my own "autograph" cards. When I get a chance, I will scan and post pics of them.
Anyways, I'm glad to get back in and thanks to Daniel Steinmann and RGM81 for helping me get back in here.

As promised, here are my 12 "cut" autos for the 14 cards that were not signed in the 2006-07 Parkhurst base auto set:
The autographs are from other licensed auto cards I obtained to try and complete the set.
- The Don Metz signature was a facsimile from an old Beehive? photo I found on Ebay.
- Can't find any licensed autos from Ron Maclean.
- As far as I know, there are no licensed autograph cards for Peter Macnab.
I will post my Parkhurst auto set in the hockey Show and Tell section. Still missing 3 cards with Mario being the BIG one.
