    Hobby vs. Retail release dates

Is the retail release date for upper deck series 2 the same as the hobby release date?

In the past when I go to places like Walmart and London Drugs days after the release date they don't have it on the shelves.

    Is there a delay?

There used to be sadly back in the 90s individual packs and boxes but the blasters are more lucrative especially at Canada Walmart crazy prices

I don't have London Drugs near me, but I've seen cards at Walmart plenty of times...... I have never seen a 24 pack retail box there.

I think few (if any) retailers are interested in selling those. They sell the blasters & tins (lower price point, but higher price-per pack)..... or they sell single packs.

Whenever I've seen 24 pack retail boxes for sale, it's been card shops that had them (usually long after release).
