Mickey Mantle Find from long ago

With all the ice / snow problems we are having in Texas, I had some extra time to dig into some boxes from long past. My father in law was a minister and about twice a year he would go to a congregation in a different town or state to hold a week long gospel meeting. One of the towns he visited was Joplin, MO. and the local church who was having the meeting put him up in a Holiday Inn.

He was a big Yankee fan and this was not just any Holiday Inn! It was one owned in part by Mickey Mantle. My father in law was not a smoker but he couldn't pass up this matchbox and upon his death it came my way.



I am grateful to have it as part of my collection and I think it is pretty cool.
