I heard some complaining about S2 - or at least the price - me personally I really can't wait.. I think both S1 & S2 are going to be great investments...

However as usual there is always room for improvement with all UD products.

Oh and I agree: "Box Fillers", what the heck is that about and who comes up with the names of these insert sets. I suppose that is a perfect example of what I mean when I say "there is always room for improvement, lol.

At least there are no Portraits, er perhaps you left them off tho I am crossing my fingers that UD dropped portraits entirely because I really flipping hate those cards, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. They suck and their value reflects that... I mean I have no issue with the name, it's just their ugly card design year in and year out... 20/21 Portraits look like "be cool, stay in school public service announcement" cards UD would issue in the 90's, of course last year in 19/20 UD took their Portraits influence straight from the 80's/early 90's school picture day/year book photos.... UD just needs to stop

To be fair, those who are grumbling do have some grounds for it. UD1/2 has for a very long time been a $4-$5 per pack product. That equates to anywhere between $90-$110 for a box (lower if you pre-order vs. first day on the shelf, etc.) so when you go to your favourite hobby shop's online store and see $180CAD....that's gross. It's a huge markup. Yes, the Series 2 crop is arguably much better than Series 1. But all of a sudden what was a $5/pack product is now $7.50/pack and that's if you're buying the whole box. I imagine the actual shelf price is minimum $8-$10 now.

@RGM81 - Your LCS's are gouging you guys. I guess one could also say they need their piece of the pie too, and for years have been forced to bring in garbage wax that just sits on the shelves forever.

Distributor prices were roughly around $100 a box on first order.

Ive snagged a case at $130CAD a box all in. Not some crazy pre-order price, this was agreed upon less than a month ago.

For all those complaining about paying $175-$200 for their box, look at the checklist and potential. Singles have skyrocketed, box prices should follow.

Oh probably. I heard for years the refrain about how they don't actually make more than a handful of dollars per box on wax. I guess this market frenzy has allowed anybody and everybody to try to get as much out of it as they can.

Good price for ya and hopefully you get some great hits out of it.
