Another one pulled back in!

This seems to be something of a theme, people returning to the hobby after some time away. I'm another one of those, though not as long as some. My kids aren't grown but I made it through the first 5 years with two of them and now I'm ready to return to the hobby that I love. I'm a Red Sox and Patriots fan and I mostly collect boxes. I know that's not really the hot thing right now but I don't know...there's just always been something about them. I think maybe it comes from when I was a kid and I'd see one in the store and it just seemed like the most amazing thing in the world to have an entire box of cards to yourself. That said, maybe some of the people in here will cause me to start getting more into singles.

Since I got back in to the hobby a few months ago I've been buying various boxes and now I'm ready to sell some of them so you'll probably see me post those soon. I look forward to talking with you all!

Welcome to SCF Matthew and back to the hobby! Even in 5 years, the hobby has changed quite a bit. Is there a particular sport that you collect box wise?

Welcome back, after 3 kids all teenagers now, I started collecting again it really is a great hobby

Welcome to SCF and back the hobby! 5 years does make a change but getting boxes is great these days. We can't get anything in my part of Oregon. If you want to part with any Yankees let me know!
