Why do people do this to uncirculated cards?!?
I just don't get it...

The whole point of the card is to be "uncirculated." Not graded, and definitely not removed from its case...

I've seen uncirculateds all scratched up, off center, chipped... I'm sure not all are 10's or even 9.5's or 9's for that matter... WHY GRADE ANYTHING- to try for a 10... what's the difference WHAT the card is? Look again- if you ask me that's the most lenient centering grade EVER GIVEN! I'm sure it being a 1/1 is ENOUGH to sell it...

Exactly... I've been seeing this more and more with cards... And the thing that made me smile was a couple weeks ago, I was watching a Matt Leinart red refractor RC /25... The guy had it graded by BGS, also got a 10 despite what looked like 55-45 centering.... Anyways... They were going for anywhere between $130-150... This one sold for $95.47, but the reserve was not met so who knows...

I think grading cards is foolish, no matter what card it is. It takes something away from the card, sealed in a plastic case, not being able to handle it if you want. I can't stand graded cards.

I agree...I am against both Uncirculated and Graded cards.....I DO bust graded cards out of the slabs when I get them for my PC, but I leave the uncirculated ones in their cases....if the uncirculated cases were bigger/taller I would probably bust those out as well.
Peace~

I think it's just people who are looking at making more money...they got the grade they wanted and some people are 9.5/10 BGS crazy. I understand WHY they did it...it's just not something I would do.
