Why don't people ship properly anymore?
I have been taking a break on here for a while. I am back now and have made a few deals. All but one deal I have made that person shipped the cards without a bubble mailer. The one that used a bubble mailer was a purchase I made for under $2. These deals werent huge at all but still, why can you ship correctly?
For all the sales and trades I made since being back I have used bubble mailers, with teambags or screwdown holders. I expect the same back for me and I feel you should ship the way you want cards to be shipped to you.
I am sort of ranting, but im not very upset since the cards werent damaged and the shipping came quickly. I am waiting on one more purchase I made and I will be dissapointed if it isn't shipped properly.
Does any agree with me or am I an idoit for making this thread?

I agree with you. It bugs me when I gets cards that are in penny sleeves and taped between two pieces of cardboard.

I always use bubble envelopes when sending cards. I also usually send in a sleeve, top loader, and team bag if I have all of those items with me. I don't believe I have ever sent in just penny sleeves unless the cards were in bulk and I could fit several in one sleeve at a time with plastic wrap around them.
At any rate, I've only had one shipping mishap here that I remember.

If I'm trading a low BV non-GU single card,I won't use a bubble mailer. I'll tape the top loader shut and tape the top loader inside the envelope so the top loader won't move around. I'll also write "Photos,Do Not Bend" on the envelope. I've done this numerous times without a single complaint.

I usually keep those thick cardboard things in the packs, and then place the cards in between them. If I don't have team bags, I'll cut strips of a plastic bag and kind of tape it into a team bag. Bubble mailers are a must for me.

sleeved, toploaded, team bagged and a #00 padded envelope is the only way I ship singles(or up to 5 single cards per envelope). Anymore than 5 cards I`ll use a snaptight box without sleeves of the proper size and sometimes a piece of seat cushion inside if there is space. There are many other ways I send out cards, but the most common is sleeved/toploaded/teambagged/#00 env.
I also purchase my #00 envelopes in bulk from http://www.esupplystore.com
Only $0.16 per envelope.

I definitely am in agreement that the "terms" of a trade should include such things as who sends first, what supplies are used, etc. It seems as though it would eliminate a lot of second-guessing after the fact.

My suggestion is in line with SingleDaddyof2's idea. Whenever you make a deal, ask the person how he/she plans to ship and work it out that way.

speaking legaly... the TM is forum of contract and all aspects of the deal should be in it. There should be a [portion on shipping and order of sending. That is a great idea.
For bubble mailers, they cost almost nothing if you buy in bulk. You can get them for about 12 cents each if you buy 200 online. That is a lot at that rate, but you can sell half of them and get about 20 cents a piece. Also I buy mailers once and they last a long time.
What does it cost to ship a card in a top loader. about a $1.50 with DC# and the bubble mailer. It isnt that much to be sure of safe shipping.
ALWAYS USE BUBBLE MAILERS!!!
