What are you selling?
What are you putting as the starting price?
As far as pics, you can find some pics online (if it's something that isn't unique, that is). Otherwise, a scanner and Photobucket are nice.

What is your ebay ID? (So we can look at your auctions).

If your cards aren't totally unique you can find photos of them online. Lots of places have photos of cards, Beckett, Naxcom, eBay, etc. Also, some office supply stores like Office Depot, Office Max & Staples offer scanning services.

As a regular ebay buyer, I never buy anything without good scans. Digital photos are a maybe. Even with a solid scan it is difficult to tell card condition, so you have to ask questions as well.
You will not get the money you want out of your auctions without good pics. I am sure you could borrow a camera or scanner. It all depends how bad you want to sell them...

If you have one, take them to an ebay store

A problem with starting a new account is your rating is 0. Will this affect how much some of my cards would be bought for, if any?

you need to buy a scanner...plain and simple...before you start selling alot on eBay.

having a 0 rating will hurt you a bit... you may want to buy a few items and sell some cheaper things before listing high dollar cards
