The theme for this week is: Best patch ON a card (Vote for the best PATCH, not the best patch card)

The theme will run from today until 11:59pm EST on Saturday, May 1st, 2021



General Rules


1. You MUST post a new scan/picture of your card with your handwritten ID next to it in this thread.
2. Only one submission per member per week.
3. A card can only be submitted ONCE throughout the whole contest, so choose wisely.
4. If you make a mistake, do NOT edit your post! Instead, create a new one, or your entry for the week will be disqualified. No exceptions.

* Any card that won in last years Show & Tell contest cannot be used again this year!





How points will be awarded:

1pt for entering
4pts for first place
2pts for second place

If we get more than 25 entries, an additional point will be awarded to both first and second place.
And EVERY entry will earn you 25RP!


First place prize for the overall contest:

Well, since Sean is playing, so will I.

I have a big collection of SPGU Supreme cards, and some can have pretty nice patches. So I'll use one from that product. This one features part of the 2018 Stadium Series Annapolis Patch from a Patrick Marleau Maple Leafs jersey worn in that game. Seems fitting to use one of his cards when he just set the record for most NHL games played this past week.

Ok here goes! This is a sleeve patch from Gallagher’s Winter Classic jersey. That game is a bit of an obsession for me since I attended it in Foxboro and it was an absolute blast. Also picture is a wine bottle from the classic also autographed by Gally :)

I have a really nice Parros patch from Panini Prime that is a patch from the NHL Premiere in Berlin that has the NHL shield also but want to be different.

Like fatfrank I'm going "Old School" with a 04-05 Ultimate Collection. Some of the earliest large patches around and from 17 years ago.
