    79-80 OPC Card sizing issues?

I own a good chunk of these cards (mostly commons) and when I compare them with my 1980's cards, a significant amount of them seem to be narrower.

i understand that when it comes to older cards trimming is an issue (especially with this blue border year) but i think it's a hell of a coincidence that some many of these cards i own are undersized and all of the other vintage cards i own from other years seem to be fine.

is it just me? Or can this be a real issue.

    thanks.

The most likely scenario is that your 79-80 OPC were all part of one collection at one point and whomever owned them prior to you trimmed them, however it's not "uncommon" for older cards er vintage to not be perfect in size, I mean I have more than plenty and when I go though them I notice some - not a lot - are actually larger.
