    stripped of captaincy , on injured reserve.
    Probably a good chance he misses a good portion of season, if not all.

    as expected without needed surgery.
    I don't get what management is trying to accomplish in the long run.
    He can't play, and they can't get fair return on damaged goods.
    So they lose a valuable asset for who knows how long, but show everyone who is boss?
