New to the site and saw the post so I thought I'd chime in.

I don't have the extra $335 to spend on a box so I splurged on just an individual pack pre-sale on Ebay for $47. Besides, even if I did have the $$ to buy a box that would break down to $56 per pack so I figure I'm saving some money and also getting to see if I even like the cards before I try to save up enough for a full box. I know I lose out on the boxtoppers this way but to save $8 a pack (X6 is about $50 per box) is considerable so as long as I trust the seller I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm excited about the product and can't wait to rip the dual!

it is very risky to buy individual packs on ebay,, most of the time they are searched... also u can get them on ebay for about 285 which is 47 per pack, then plus the two autographed box toppers

I agree that you have to be careful buying individual packs but to say that most of the time they're searched is overstating it a bit. I am lucky to have a good seller that I have bought from multiple times for mostly vintage wax and have always had good pulls so I'm not worried about that. That being said you're right that if I could lock in on a box under $300 that would be better but I just don't have that kind of dough right now so one lucky pack will have to do. I'll wait till after that rip to see if I like the product and if so I may try to come up with the extra funds to spring for a whole box.

its going to be one of the most solid products of the year if you buy it by the box. even at the pack price, its still solid in what its going to deliver per pack. what else is out there for less than $50 a pack that will give you a g/u plus an auto per pack?
