Penny sleeves Yeah right!!!!!!!!!!
I know they call them penny sleeves, but I had someone helping me sort cards, and they chipped a few edges trying to put my $x cards into ¢sleeves.."LOL" I've done it my darn self, now if in doubt about if the card will fit, before trying & chipping, I use two fingers to stretch the sleeve..
P.S-They were not trying to stuff G/U into regular sleeves either, as I have the larger G/U sleeves. Just regular size card stock into regular old penny sleeves.
Who else has had this happen with these so called, card protector/penny sleeves??

They make larger penny sleeves for GU? I didn't know that...but this seems to happen to me a lot also. I think you have to cut the side of the sleeve (at the top) and slide the card in that way, but I can't be bothered with that all of the time. I do that sometimes when I am sending in a card for grading however...
And, now...back to the innuendo!

meuandthelot... who makes the Vintage/GU sleeves you use? That's new to me as well.
I cut the corner off of one side of the penny sleeves I use for cards before putting them into a top loader. I know some people don't like doing it that way, but it's worked really well for me. Typically, I just cut off a few millimeters of plastic, just enough to get the card squared in over the lip... and then I don't have to worry about it.

Weird...I've never had a problem with placing cards in penny sleeves...hmmm....then again, I get 200 for $1, so I guess they really aren't penny sleeves...lol

I just carefully and slowly insert the card in...and like Tony, I get 100 of the sleeves for $0.50 at the card shows
