    Kotkaniemi Dropped to Fourth Line

Anyone who still thinks that the Habs should have matched the Hurricanes $6M+ offer you can now give it a rest.

Because 2 games into the season is the perfect time to judge the season as a whole.

    2-0 VS 0-3 with 3 total goals

Think Carolina will take that no matter who they have on the 4th line for one more year.

Should the Habs have matched? No. Could you argue they are a better team with KK? Sure.

Does it really matter this year weather the Habs have KK or not? Not really. Its not like they stood a chance at the playoffs anyways in that Division

Suddenly Habs fans want the kid to bomb. lol
This should be his rookie year in the NHL but oh well, now he is an overpaid 4th liner.
Probably still better spot for him though.

Yes that's often how it works when a player leaves for another team. In all likelihood, he's going to score a hat trick tomorrow night though.

And he has a nice goal, with an apple from Aho. lol
At this rate Caufield will have zero points and be on the 4th line when UD-1 comes out in December.

He also has one more goal than the $10M+ mouthpiece down the 401. Upper Deck may have really shot themselves in the foot delaying the UD1 release. LOL.
