"Roy"t A Cool Early Birthday 2 Box Break of 2002-03 Upper Deck Mask Collection

With my birthday coming up on Sunday (and no hobby shops open on Sundays), I wanted to celebrate early and get a box break video in of one of my favorite products of all time, 2002-03 Upper Deck Mask Collection hockey.

A product focused on goalies, each box guarantees 1 mini goalie mask, 2 game used cards, and at least 4 rookies. The mini masks that came out of the two boxes were really cool and there was one really nice memorabilia card in box 1 that almost yelled "Happy Birthday" to me.

I love all the product like this that they do not make anymore. Ud Artistic Impressions, the busts, and these masks are some cool collectibles in my opinion if you get the right one for your pc's. Trying to find them in the rare versions can be very hard and expensive if It is a popular player.

You are right on that one. The masks in particular had a sparkle or glitter parallel limited to 25 copies, and of course the autographs. The busts also had multiple color variations and the autographs as well. Still, it's fun having an extra layer of collectability in a box of cards.

Love the Chico Resch mask!!!

He has Minnesota ties. He played 4 years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He worked as a color commentator on the Minnesota North Stars' television broadcasts during the 1987–88 and 1988–89 seasons. He was the Minnesota North Stars’ goaltending coach and a scout in 1990-91. He currently lives in Minnesota during the offseason.

Talked with him for a half hour at Tom Reid's Sports Bar after a Wild-Devils game in St. Paul one night some years back....great guy!

Awesome pull on the Nation's Best, and those are some sweet masks. Somehow I only have the autographed Roy mask in my PC from 02/03, these things are tough to find reasonably priced.

Nice retro break! I remember pulling a Fuhr autographed Blues mask from the only box I bought.
