That was a crazy play! I remember watching that on SC the day it happened and still couldn't believe it! Truly one of the greatest plays in NFL History! It made the game even more entertaining when John Carney missed the extra point! The Saints most likely would have won the game, becuase the Saints would have had all the momentum going into the overtime, and the Seahawks had been completely shocked.

jaguars won because the kicker missed the point after so it was 20-19 so that play was wasted

Yeah that was another reason why it was such a great play - to keep their playoff hopes alive. But yea golfermatt, Carney is still the kicker i believe

I remember when this game happened. Not trying to undermine you or anything pr0phet, but the winning team did not go to the playoffs. This was during one of the Jags losing seasons that I was thrilled to be a part of, 2003, Byron Leftwich's rookie year. I remember this game really specifically because the Jags struggled to get wins all year long (they went 5-11 that year), and it looked like the Jags had this one locked up (Taylor had a big day...190 yds I believe), and I remember I had been listening to the game on internet radio but then FOX gave bonus coverage of the game and I was flipping out so much when this play happened! Figured the Jags luck couldn't get much worse that year. But then they missed the PAT so it's all good.:)
