Happy Thanksgiving!
To all my SCF friends, happy Thanksgiving! Let's remember the reason for the day, which is (if memory serves) thankfulness for safe passage to the New World and for the Native Americans who taught the colonists the ways of the land.
Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, let's talk: what's your ultimate Thanksgiving spread, favorite Thanksgiving football memory, and do mac and cheese and/or ham belong on the Thanksgiving table?
Spread: I'm good with just corn casserole, sweet potato casserole, Winterberry crisp, and pumpkin pie
*Winterberry crisp is a dish from a family friend involving cranberries and apple pieces in a syrup baked under a granola topping.
Thanksgiving football memory: Watching Cam Newton score a TD en route to a 15-1 season
Mac and cheese/ham: yes, only if it's a tradition that goes back to at least the grandparents. Otherwise, let's keep it off the table.

Back at ya!
I’m good with any food. I usually fry turkeys and a cornbread stuffing that goes back to my grandma’s recipe and the cranberry jelly are all must haves for me for thanksgiving to be complete.
Today I am on duty working but am fortunate enough that my family (wife and kids) and all the guys I work with will bring their family by and we will have a big dinner. Got three briskets on the smoker. Tomorrow will be turkey dinner at my sisters house.

Happy thanksgiving to you! This year I’m thankful to be able to relax again. As for the spread I think you gotta have turkey, and Mac and cheese belongs only if you make it fancy. I also gotta have some green bean casserole or it won’t feel right. Hope you all enjoy
