Good luck to both players and I agree Bird will probably shine longer than Frazier!

Still wondering who the Yankees will go after for Shortstop, who will be the everyday Center Fielder and will they keep Chapman!

To answer the Chapman question first this is just a hunch but the Yankees signed Chapman to pitch in a World Series. As fans he frustrates at times because he's no Mo but no one is Mo and Mo wasn't always perfect but he gave the Yankees the best chance to close out games. Chapman is still an elite reliever. I think the Yankees would have to be way out of it for Cashman to consider trading him.

To answer the SS question there's only two big names left Trevor Story and Carlos Correa in the Free Agent market. With the Yankees being very high on Anthony Volpe a stop-gap solution is not out of the question. If that's the case then I believe Gio Urshela has the inside track to man SS everyday for the Yankees for the near future. His play at SS compared to 3B was still elite level. I think the question is more who is going to man 3B and 1B or rather are the Yankees trading for Olson or Matt Chapman? Because that decides DJ LeMahieu's position. So the bigger question is still what are the Yankees getting for Luke Voit because he's the odd man out as I don't see them trading Torres at the moment as he has more versatility being able to play 2B, and with some limitations 3B and SS as mush as we fans moan about Gleyber's defense at SS he's not totally lost at the position. I think his defensive woes come down to ADD but I'm no doctor. But I live with it and pretty sure Gleyber doesn't know he has it. Corrected he's your everyday SS. So again what do you get for Voit because the Yankees need another lefty bat besides Joey Gallo. Though look for Franklin Barreto to get a minor league deal and invite to ST because that's what Cashman does and he pretty much replaces Wade with more speed, more bat upside and plays multiple positions 2B primarily but SS, 3B, LF and CF. developed by Oakland so knows the fundamentals.

Centerfield we're stuck we Aaron Hick and his likely 50 games before hitting the IL I personally have no problems with Gallo in LF, Stanton in RF, and Judge in CF with Andujar as your primary DH if he can stay healthy. Just don't bring back Gardner. But that's just my opinion.

Judge has played more CF than before and I think you are right about Gardner out. I would love to see Olson or Chapman in pinstripes. Voit is the question, what can we get for him. Like your other ideas also, just want to see them excel in 2022 and beat up the Rays and Red Sox.

Definitely hoping 2022 can be the start of another dynasty run. The team has shown promise of what it can do when they run like the Lions they are and not tripping on themselves. Voit is set to make around 5 million with I believe three years of team control left so he'd be a good fit for someone looking to upgrade their offense in the middle of the order in return for at least a quality #4 if not #3 veteran pitcher in a straight-up deal with maybe some low level prospects thrown in depending on the returns length and value of contract so that's his upside in finding a trade partner his downside he's a bat first 1st baseman/DH type with not a lot of versatility.

The East is getting tougher to win every year. Red Sox, Rays, and Blue Jays are real contenders with even Baltimore improved last year it's a dogfight all year round. It's why I hate the expanded playoff format sure if you're Houston from a division so weak you still have to cheat to win it but as Boston showed last year you don't wanna be Tampa fighting out all year to win the division and then face an East team you dogfought with all year in the playoffs. We may as well go to a Ranking and Playoff system like college football. Because winning a division means nothing now.

Likely however the point is Bird's moment against Miller will likely be remembered more. Also Greg Bird is exactly the kind of reclamation project that gives Cashman a morning hardon.
