There is said to be "interest" in him from a "number of teams" once he hits the open market. I think if he can sign on with a club for the rest of the season at League minimum, and not create problems on purpose, he could turn the corner and get himself a new deal going forward. He's still a pretty good player but the off-ice issues have really overshadowed his playing career.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

It's a big dilemma, yes he has skills, but will he break the chemistry of the team picking him?

It really seems like he has a personality disorder.
If so than he can't just decide not to cause any more problems. If he could he would have saved himself 22 million dollars just by following simple protocols.

No way that any team gives him a chance. In the history of the league there has been no player that has ever gotten away with the things that he has. He is the NHL's version of Antonio Brown and even his idiot self has finally worn out his welcome. Hopefully.
